C4P Survey Results: Payments Fraud Insights & Strategies

This white paper, available to ePayResources members, examines the intricacies of payments fraud, offers a detailed analysis of trends and insights from the Center for Paymentsÿ 2024 Fraud Survey, and establishes best practices for reducing and combating payments fraud. By examining data from a diverse set of financial institutions, the paper aims to provide actionable recommendations to enhance fraud detection and prevention strategies.
Between early May and mid-June 2024, 443 financial institutions of various sizes, ranging from under $10 million to more than $25 billion in assets, participated in the study. The collected data was thoroughly analyzed to uncover trends, patterns, and key insights about payments fraud.
