We do not have parking available for guests and suggest that
if you are staying overnight to please park at your hotel and request the valet
to hail you a taxi . Public parking is available at various lots close to the bank.
Entrance to the Building
The Federal Reserve Bank is located at 530 East Trade Street
and is diagonally across from the Hyatt House and the Charlotte Mecklenburg
Police Department. The Bank is a brown, granite building and occupies the block
of East Trade, Davidson, 4th Street and Caldwell Street.
Upon your arrival, please step into the motion-sensor
revolving doors located under the big 530 numbers. Wait a few seconds for the
Law Enforcement Officer to change the access from red to green which is
indicated by the lighting on the side of the door. Listen for the voice to say
"Step into the Door." Once you step into the door, the revolving door
will begin to turn for you to gain entrance. Place loose items in one of the
trays located on the table near the x-ray machine conveyor belt and then walk
through the magnetometer. At this point, Bank staff will be positioned to
direct/escort you to the meeting room.
Please remember that cameras are not permitted at the
Federal Reserve Bank.
